Dark Circles

Dark Circles makes one look old, tired and unhealthy. The skin under the eye is very thin and it gets damaged easily due to several reasons.

Causes of Dark Circles

* Heredity – One of the reasons of dark circle can be heredity
* Sun Exposure – Over exposure to sun can damage skin under the eye
* Lack of Sleep – Excessive tiredness or lack of sleep or improper sleep is the main reason of dark circles
* Lack of Nutrition – Improper or unbalanced diet i.e. lack of essentials nutrients also leads to dark circle
* Infection – Eye allergies or infection leads to itching, rubbing and scratching which promotes under eye dark circles
* Age – It is the most common factor, the dark circle increases as the age increase
* Diseases – Chronic diseases and continuous medication is also one of the cause

Cure of Dark Circles

* Drink More Water – Daily drink more than 8 glasses of water, it will purify your blood and lighten the dark circles
* Do Yoga – You can do regular yoga especially pranayam to get rid of ugly dark circles
* Massage – Massage the area under the eye with good cold cream rich in Vitamin E or almond oil before going to bed
* Use Sunglasses – Always use sunglasses before going out in sun to preserve your eyes from harmful radiations
* Nutrition – Take more fruits & vegetables in your diet. Eat food rich in vitamins and iron
* Sleep Well – Take proper sleep and try not to get over tired.

Try Some Home Remedies

* Apply paste of almond and milk under the eyes
* Dip cotton balls in rose water and keep it on eye’s darker area for 15 minutes
* Place slices of raw cucumber or potato over closed eyes for 20 minutes
* Carefully place cold tea bag over eyes for 10 minutes
